All three systems use TAMKO Titan XT® architectural shingles with a 50-year material warranty. What changes from Good to Best is how many years we stand behind the installation.
The same 50-year shingle as every other system, at the lowest price we can honestly offer.
The same shingle with upgraded underlayment, and our labor covered two and a half times as long.
Our labor covered for as long as the shingle is. One number to remember: fifty.
Prices are per roofing square (100 sq ft) for a standard tear-off and replacement of one layer of asphalt shingles. Squares are calculated from your aerial measurement report plus a waste factor for your roof's complexity. Introductory pricing for our first homeowners. The price on your quote holds for 30 days.
The three systems above are complete roofs as they are. These are for specific situations: a hot upstairs, a hail worry, a brand you already trust. Here's what each one is, who it's for, and exactly what it adds.
A roof bakes all summer. That heat works its way down through the shingles, through the wood deck, and into your attic, where it sits on top of your upstairs ceiling. Standard underlayment does nothing about it. Its only job is to keep water out.
LOW-E underlayment does both jobs. It's a thin sheet of polyethylene foam faced on both sides with aluminum foil, and it goes down under your shingles. The name comes from the same low-emissivity idea as the low-E glass in modern windows. Under a shingle roof, most of the work is done by the foam: it puts a thermal break between the hot shingle and the wood underneath.
How much you feel it depends on your attic insulation and ventilation. Ask your representative on your Zoom and they'll tell you straight whether it makes sense for your house.
Shingles are rated for impact by dropping a steel ball on them and checking for cracks. Titan XT, the shingle in all three systems, passes with a 1¾-inch ball dropped from 17 feet. That's Class 3.
Class 4 is the top of the scale: a 2-inch steel ball from 20 feet, with no cracking. To pass it, TAMKO makes StormFighter FLEX® from polymer-modified asphalt, which is asphalt blended with rubber-like polymers so the shingle flexes on impact instead of fracturing. Choose this upgrade and we install it in place of Titan XT on whichever system you've picked.
Some insurers lower your premium for a Class 4 roof. Call yours before you decide. If they do, the upgrade earns part of its cost back every year.
We built our systems around TAMKO Titan XT because it's the shingle we'd put on our own homes. But a roof is a 50-year decision, and plenty of homeowners already know what they want: the shingle that was on their last house, the one their HOA has approved, the color on the house down the street.
So you're not locked in. Pick any of these three and we build your system around it, with the same underlayment, the same crew and the same labor coverage. Nothing else about your quote changes.
The material warranty, wind rating and impact rating come from the manufacturer you choose and follow their terms. Your Remote Roofing labor coverage doesn't change.
Same price for any of the three. Tell us which one on your questionnaire or your Zoom.
Drag to your roof size and switch upgrades on or off. Your quote will use the exact square count from your measurement report, but this gets you close.
It's the shingle we'd put on our own homes, so it's the one we built our systems and our pricing around. Here's what you get before any upgrade.
TAMKO®, Titan XT®, StormFighter FLEX® and Synthetic Guard™ are trademarks of TAMKO Building Products LLC. LOW-E®, CertainTeed Landmark®, GAF Timberline HDZ®, Owens Corning Duration® and SureNail® are trademarks of their respective owners. Wind coverage requires installation per TAMKO's high-wind application instructions. The manufacturer's full warranty terms are attached to every quote.
The shingle warranty comes from the manufacturer and is the same 50 years on all three systems. The labor warranty comes from us and covers the installation itself. That's the one you're choosing when you pick Good, Better or Best.
